My name is Elena Klochkova, I’m 29.
In 2003 I graduated from the faculty “Control systems, informatics and electrical power engineering” of the Moscow Aviation Institute, with qualification of engineer on specialty «Automated systems of data processing and control». I’ve finished three-year English school «Lingua Inform» and in 2002 successfully passed the exam for the First Certificate of Cambridge (FCE).
Since 2002 I’m working in the State Research Center – Institute of biophysics (now Burnazyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center) as a researcher in laboratory of personal protection equipment for the personnel of dangerous works (certification and tests of personal protection equipment, development of normative documents – sanitary regulations, hygienic norms etc.). My duties are translation of documents from/to English, layout and design of documents and reports, creation and work with databases, image processing. I collaborate with some translation agencies. I participated in international conferences. I’m looking for a job with written translation from English into Russian and vice versa as a freelancer. Preferable translation topics are IT, software and hardware, electronics, marketing, e-commerce, sales management, human resource management, ecology, labour protection, radiation safety and personal protection equipment, and some others. I’m advanced PC user (manage all Office programs, Photoshop, FineReader, Adobe Acrobat, TRADOS, IBM Translation Manager, SDLX, WordFast). I can send my translations by e-mail and have unlimited Internet access.
